Maybe this is all just research for a role. She starts out as this sweet girl and makes friends with a bunch of outcasts. They send her to spy on the "popular" kids by blending in with them. She takes this too far and ends up BECOMING one of the wicked and plastic kids. Then, after realizind what's become of her and how it's hurting the ones she loves, she redeems herself and becomes a sweet girl again, all while teaching the popular kids a lesson.
Her mom will be played by Amy Poehler. "I just want you to know, if you ever need anything, don't be shy, OK? There are NO rules in the house. I'm not like a *regular* mom, I'm a *cool* mom."
