Writing can be taught like flying can be taught. Some animals are born with wings, other are not. Some animals born without wings (i.e. humans) CAN be taught to fly, but their flying is generally noisier and less graceful than their avian brethren. It pollutes more, too. Like Dean Koontz in an airport bookstore.
Just a little more mixing and those metaphors will be ready to go into the oven.
eh... drink and walk is ok, but your writing reminds me of a great philosopher: "that tickles me in a way, that if Loretta tickled me in that way, I'd say, Oh yea ... that's nice ... that's the spot."
